Sarah Lennon, an artist from Ireland

Dejamos hoy nuestro país para conocer otros jóvenes pintores de otros países, en este caso Irlanda. Sarah Lennon (cuando empezó a pintar Sarah Rowland, ya sabeis que allí se cambien el apellido al casarse) Podríamos decir que ha sido (junto a mi madre) una de las personas que me ha animado a pintar... Además de ser mi cuñada es una gran pintora, y cada vez que iba a su casa y veía todos sus cuadros me entraban más ganas de empezar a pintar yo misma (lo mismo que al ver a mi madre pintando)

Su estilo se caracteriza por pintar normalmente en acrílicos (mueve mucho las obras de un lado al otro y el óleo no acababa de secarse bien y a veces se le estropeaban...), con unos colores muy vivos y la mayoría de las veces son caballos (su otra pasión en la vida)

En Dublín muchos fines de semana se hacen exposiciones al aire libre de diferentes pintores... os dejo aquí una foto de su última exposición para que veais que cuadros tan bonitos hace

Leaving our country (Spain) today, to let you know about another young artist from around the world, Ireland in this case: Sarah Lennon (Sarah Rowland when she began painting).

We could say that she has been (apart from my mum) one of the people who encouraged me the most to start painting... Apart from being a great sister in law she is also a fabulous painter, and every time I went to her house and saw her paintings I fell in love with them and said to myself : "I would love to paint as well..." (much like when I saw my mum painting)

She usually paints in acrylics these days as she moves the paintings from place to place (the oil paintings sometimes got damaged as they take so long to dry), wonderful horses (her other passion in life) with very lively colours.

In Dublin they do outdoor painting exhibitions some weekends on Merrion Square. You can see one of the photos from her last exhibition above and check out her lovely paintings.
